The Malaysia Immigration Department (JIM) would like to inform that a total of 528 Rohingya detainees have escaped from the Sungai Bakap Temporary Immigration Depot, Penang. The incident happened on April 20, 2022 at 4.30am.
马来西亚移民局公告显示，目前有528个亚罗兴关押人员逃离槟城Sungai Bakap临时拘留所，这个事情发生在本月20日。
They fled after breaking the block door and the barrier grill. The officers on duty have activated the SOP by contacting PDRM and relevant agencies for assistance. The search and arrest operation for the escaped detainees is being carried out with the cooperation of PDRM, RELA and the public.他们是集体破门而出再逃离，随后马来西亚执法机构启动紧急抓捕预案，同时也是发布公告希望公众协助举报。
As of 10am this morning, a total of 362 detainees have been re-arrested. The search for the remaining 205 detainees is continuing in massive movement. 6 of Rohingya detainees who escaped died after crossing the North -South Highway. People who have information on the whereabouts of the escaped detainees are requested to inform JIM or PDRM.截止次日上午十点基本上也是抓到了362人，剩余205日还在抓捕追查当中，其中6名亚罗兴人在穿越南北高速中死亡。
亚罗兴人这个群体在东南亚各国都是一个比较大的麻烦制造者，虽然不能以偏概全，但是各位居住在槟城附近的还是注意居家安全为妙。
