人在马来西亚开公司做生意,大概率会涉及到一些员工的升职加薪事宜,在员工晋升到新岗位之前对其进行试用是明智之举。这样一来如果员工的表现未达预期,公司就可以避免让其进入绩效改进计划(PIP),也能避免对其进行降职或解雇。如果处理不当,这会挫伤员工的积极性,给公司带来管理负担以及潜在的劳动风险。我们都知道管理绩效改进计划流程的麻烦和负担。既然我们本可以通过更深入的考量和对员工进行评估来避免这些情况,那又何必自找麻烦呢?
晋升不应仅仅取决于资历,也不应仅仅作为对员工忠诚度的奖励。虽然员工可能会因资历而具备一定优势,但应更看重员工当前和过去的绩效,以及其在新岗位上处理工作和表现出色的潜力。资历可以作为初步考虑的一个因素,但在此之后必须对其是否适合新岗位进行客观且全面的评估。公司最应该避免的情况就是晋升了一名员工,结果却因为其无法达到新岗位的预期要求而只能对其进行降职或解雇。

We refer to the above and to the recent conversation between you and your immediate superior. The Company is pleased inform you on your temporary appointment (hereinafter known as acting period) as Finance Manager with effective from 6 December 2022 to 5 March 2023. This temporary appointment is made based on your performance and feedback from your superior.
During this acting period, you shall be paid an acting allowance of RM 1,000 per month and this allowance shall cease upon the expiry of the above-mentioned period. The allowance shall subject to prevailing statutory regulations.
